Pursued new business opportunities in the field of new technology transfers and project development, specialising in the environmental industry.  Designed and developed municipal recycling and composting complexes in Atlantic Canada and consulted in jurisdictions outside of the Atlantic Region.  Directed the building of Canada’s first

Convertit designed integrated waste recycling plant in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, which is recognized as the leader in Canada’s municipal solid waste composting field, converting solid waste into consumer appealing top soil conditioner and fertilizer.

As General Manager, WLC Peru, led a management services project that entailed the development and delivery of an electronic lottery network in Peru.  Provided the WLC’s Office of Americas with capital financing development services and project management functions for WLC in North America. The client company, WLC is exploring and developing business opportunities in legal gaming throughout Latin America. Maintains a business investment relationship with WLC.  Also created a corporate marketing and development program for a fledgling new manufacturer seeking entry into the gaming niche involving video lottery terminals.

  • Former Manager of Member and Corporate Relations for Co-op Atlantic, responsible for the advertising and marketing functions for the regional consumer co-operative. 1984-1986

  • Former General Manager of the Salem and Hillsborough Railroad, a then prominent New Brunswick tourist attraction  1983-84

  • With a Toronto based business partner, purchased the Brunswick Business Journal in 1986 and revitalized it into a bright modern publication.  For ten-year period following subsequent sale of the Business Journal, maintained a popular monthly Business commentary column, Jonah's People.

  • Pioneered use of personal computers in Desktop Publishing, in Atlantic Canada, 1983
